This is one of our mini original pressed seaweeds, framed in a fine dark brown wooden frame. This seaweed specimen is called Velvet Horn Weed, Codium fragile and was foraged from Lansallos - Cornwall in 2025.

Please note that this is a natural seaweed which may fade over time if left in direct sunlight. Velvet Horn Weed is a green seaweed which will fade more quickly than the red and brown seaweeds - however, we love how it gradually fades to soft mottled browns. We advise you hang your framed seaweed somewhere that avoids exposure to direct sunlight.
It has been framed using Premium anti-reflective Artglass, which is scratch resistant and easy to clean using a soft cloth and ammonia free cleaner.
